Mission
Fountain Inn Kids Enrichment Center (FIKE) is a non-profit organization with a mission to ENCOURAGE, EDUCATE and ENRICH children in need. Here they find a safe place, with professional staff, tutors and great volunteers.
The FIKE Center is not a daycare facility.
After school FIKE children find:
A safe and caring place where they can grow educationally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
We offer a wide variety of activities specifically designed to instill confidence, foster leadership, strengthen character and cultivate a passion for knowing God and walking with Him!
About Us
No one wants to believe that it is happening children robbed of their childhood through abuse, violence, addictions, hopelessness and having responsibility for themselves at an early age. It is the tough reality, but there is a place of hope; a shelter from the dangerous storm. It is the Fountain Inn Kids Enrichment Center. Every afternoon, our children come from local schools to Capstone church, who provide housing for our programs under the direction of the FIKE Center.

Meet Our Team
Ms. Janice Walcott
Executive Director
Ms. Janice Walcott is a native of Lancaster, South Carolina who originally moved to Greenville, South Carolina to pursue her Credit Manager position at WHNS Fox 21, where she worked for nineteen years. She started as Program Coordinator with Fountain Inn Kids Enrichment Center in early October 2022 however, she was promoted to Executive Director in January 2023. She earned her Associates degree in business at York Technical college before earning her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. In 2009 she opened up her own in-home daycare by the name of “A Nest of Comforts Daycare”, where she continued to encourage kids in need for 13 years. She’s also a member of Prince Hall Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Stars “Lowndes Hill Chapter” #164. Janice is dedicated to serving the kids and families at FIKE, as they strive for success within the community making her a great addition to FIKE. She is also CPR trained as well as a certified CNA. Her motto is “be the change,” and she looks forward to furthering the development of FIKE. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, three grandchildren, and her fur buddy Polo.
Margaret Morgan
Program Coorinator
Ms. Margaret Morgan is an extremely motivated and ambitious individual, with over sixteen years of experience in policy and procedures. She’s a native of Lancaster, South Carolina and she’s been our FIKE Program Coordinator since April 2023. Margaret is a hard worker with managing and teamwork skills, she hopes to continue to spread positivity and educate kids in need. In her free time she enjoys traveling, shopping, and interior decorating. She lives by the saying “no child should stand alone”, which ensures she will stand by our students no matter the challenge, making her a great addition to the program.
